2 New Product Launches !

We have two exciting new product launches this month. Phonak has launched “Eon” and Oticon has launched “Reveal”. Both are packed with state of the art features and technology. You would be forgiven in assuming hearing aids are pretty much the same with different logos on the box. Well, that’s very much not the case, and can be easily illustrated in these two new devices.

Phonak “Eon” has gone down the path of superior background noise masking, which is perfect for those who want to be able engage in conversation above all else. Of particular note is the wind noise reduction which is fantastic for any outdoor enthusiasts.  

Oticon “Reveal” have reduced emphasis on noise reduction and created a more natural immersive experience which allows you to hear some background noise, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of a bar or a restaurant whilst still having the benefit of AI speech recognition. The choice will come down to what you want to experience from your hearing aids. 

As Joy of Hearing is an independent audiologist, you can try the hearing aid type you think you want and if you change your mind you have the option of changing to a different brand, offering a completely different experience.
