This gentleman was not hearing so well & found his hearing aid was whistling. The wax filters were trapping the wax & encouraging the wax to build up. A simple repair of his device will solve this issue to stop the filters entering the ear canal! If you notice your wax filters are ‘missing’ when you remove your hearing aid from your ear, make an appointment to get your device checked!
Apart from wax filters we have also removed a Cadbury’s cream egg wrapper, a bead, a rubber & a bit of foam and most interesting of all a dead fly! you just never know what you might find when you look into an ear!!
